ALLIES
A Support group for Bisexual, Lesbian and Gay students. ALLIES is a peer-led support group for students dealing with issues related to sexual orientation. ALLIES seeks to provide a supportive and affirming environment for open discussion and education regarding issues of sexual orientation. ALLIES affirms confidentiality, sensitivity, and understanding without judgment.

Hand-in-Hand
A support group and services for students finding themselves to be unwed, expectant mothers.
Hand in Hand is a program of care and concern for single, pregnant women at the University of Dayton. Women in the program are offered assistance in the decision process needed early in the pregnancy by a skilled, non-judgmental woman who will keep complete confidentiality and the utmost respect for the beliefs of the student. A mentor is likewise provided, an understanding faculty or staff person who has experienced pregnancy. In maintaining a relationship with her mentor, the single pregnant woman can find support in her fears, needs and joys. The Hand in Hand program can also help students with practical issues such as housing, academic difficulties, counseling, pregnancy testing, and emotional support. Birth mothers
For women who have put their children up for adoption this group offers support and encouragement, and is a place to discuss one's feelings. CALL Sister Mary Louise Foley at 937-229-2093.
Living With Loss
Living with Loss is a support group for both undergraduate and graduate students going through the grief process. It meets on a regular basis as determined by the group. Living with Loss can help you find ways to help yourself through the grief process, build emotional supports that can sustain you, and cope with especially difficult holidays. Be with students who share the experience of the death of a loved one and are learning to cope.
